The Blue Birdman, also known as Lodi's Blue Mystery Thing, is a barely-glimpsed cryptid that was sighted near Lodi, Wisconsin on the Ice Age Trail that runs through the state. The cryptid is very mysterious, having only been seen once and even then as a blur.
The witness, known as Michelle, assumed it was a biker riding on the trail (which was off-limits to bicycles). Stepping aside to let the biker through, Michelle was stunned as the "biker" made a hard 45-degree turn into the thicket, disappearing into the dense stand of trees with a blue plume wafting from its head.
Appearance[]
The appearance of this creature is vastly unknown due to the lack of a clear look at it. The fact that it glided along the path smoothly enough to pass as a biker would suggest that it possessed wings of some sort. The one clear detail Michelle remembers is the long blue plume (feather? scarf? fur?) that trailed along behind the creature from the back of its head.
Possible Explanations[]
There are several explanations as to what the creature could be. Theories include:
- An undiscovered species (a Cryptid)
- A spirit
Trivia[]
- Not much about the creature is known, as the only known sighting was not of the highest quality.
