The Dublin Lake Monsters were a group of unseen cryptids reportedly encountered by a skin diver who had previously gone missing for several days after a routine dive in the 1980s. He was found naked and in a state of shock babbling incoherently about the “monsters” he had encountered in the caverns within the bowels of Dublin Lake, which is located in Cheshire County, New Hampshire.
Appearance[]
No description of these presumably horrific beasts was ever chronicled, possibly due to the diver's unhinged state. The only description the witness gave in his hysteria was that they were eel-like.
Possible Explanations[]
There are several explanations as to what the creature could be. Theories include:
- An undiscovered species (a Cryptid)
- A hallucination or bout of hysteria
Trivia[]
- There are no records of this incident, so its veracity is hard to determine.
