|Ghost Bus of Highway 93|
The Ghost Bus of Highway 93, also known as the Ghost Bus of Union Pass and the Grim Weeper, is a supposed phantom bus that haunts the area along U.S. 93 between Wickenburg and Wikieup, Arizona. The bus is rumored to be Bus 777, which vanished sometime in 2002.
- Flaming bus
- Bus's headlights cry molten chromium
- Angry passengers appearing in your car
No one knows what happened to the passengers. Only the driver, Joe, was found. He was wandering on the shoulder of Arizona Highway 68, looking for his bus. He was incoherent, but said he last saw his bus in Union Pass, which is on Highway 68 northwest of Kingman.
Supposedly, soon after the bus's air conditioner failed, Joe pulled over at a rest stop. He told the gamblers he was driving to Laughlin, Nevada, that the bus was losing power and he could either turn back or call another bus. The passengers refused and Joe continued on, with the bus as hot as an oven.
As the bus climbed the grade toward Union Pass, the power began draining quickly. Joe was having difficulty getting the bus the last few hundred yards to the summit of Union Pass. He finally pulled onto the shoulder and told his angry passengers he could take them no further. The passengers reportedly mutinied. The next thing he knew, he was standing on the side of the road as the passengers pushed Bus 777 over the hill and climbed aboard as gravity took over. This was the last the bus was ever heard of.
As of yet, there are no notable accounts that we could find.
- Police combed the area where the bus supposedly crashed, but found no bodies and no wreckage whatsoever.
