|Headless Angel of Portugal|
|Theories|| · Angel|
The Headless Angel of Portugal was a mysterious humanoid being sighted by four young shepherdesses near Cabeco, Portugal, in the summer of 1915.
The entity was described as "a figure like a statue made of snow which the rays of the sun had turned somewhat transparent". The entity reportedly had bright white skin and a distinct lack of a head, but somehow managed to hover in the air with no discernible wings.
There are several explanations as to what the creature could be. Theories include:
- An angel
- A hoax
There are no notable encounters that we can find.
- One of the girls, Lucia Abobora, was present during the events in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917, when 70,000 people witnessed a hovering disc.
