The Spider Gates, specifically known as Spider Gates Cemetery or Friends Cemetery, is a Quaker cemetery located in Leicester, Massachusetts. This cemetery is said to be home to one of the gates to hell, as well as a variety of other phenomena.
Background[]
The official name of the cemetery is the Spring Creek Friends Cemetery. The widely held story is that the Spider Gate is the eighth gate to hell, and that the other seven are hidden somewhere nearby. If one were to walk through all eight gates in the correct order, he or she would immediately find themselves in hell.
Other phenomena reported at the cemetery include satanic rituals taking place at a raised pedestal of earth, mysterious white ooze seeping up from the ground, roaring sounds, and multiple suicides.
